Billing Terms and Condition

These Billing Terms and Conditions (“Billing Terms”) govern all payments made through novahavenliving.com. By placing an order, you agree to these Billing Terms.


1. Pricing and Currency

1.1 Currency
All prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD).

1.2 Pricing Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to ensure pricing accuracy. However, in the event of typographical, technical, or system errors, we reserve the right to cancel or correct orders placed at an incorrect price.

1.3 Taxes and Duties
Prices do not include applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, customs duties, brokerage fees, or import charges unless expressly stated. Customers are responsible for all applicable government-imposed charges.


2. Payment Methods

We accept payment through secure checkout using:

  • Discover

  • Shopify Payments supported methods

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders if payment authorization fails, is declined, or is flagged for potential fraud.


3. Payment Authorization

By submitting payment information at checkout, you authorize NovaHaven to charge your selected payment method for:

  • The product price

  • Applicable taxes

  • Shipping and handling fees

Payment is due in full at the time of purchase.

Orders will not be processed until payment authorization is successfully completed.


4. Order Confirmation and Billing Records

4.1 Confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation email after successful payment.

4.2 Billing Records
Invoices and order confirmations are delivered electronically to the email address provided at checkout.

4.3 Customer Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring your billing information is accurate and current. NovaHaven is not liable for delays or failed communications due to incorrect information provided by the customer.


5. Disputed Charges and Chargebacks

5.1 Dispute Window
If you believe you were incorrectly charged, you must contact us within 7 calendar days of the transaction date.

5.2 How to Submit a Dispute
Disputes must be submitted in writing to:

support@novahavenliving.com

Include:

  • Order number

  • Transaction date

  • Detailed explanation of the issue

5.3 Chargeback Policy
Customers agree to contact NovaHaven to resolve disputes prior to initiating a chargeback with their financial institution.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may be contested with supporting documentation including order confirmation, shipping confirmation, and delivery verification.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict future purchases in cases of confirmed payment abuse.


6. Refunds and Credits

Refunds are issued strictly in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy, available on our website.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 3–5 business days after approval. Financial institutions may require additional time to post funds.


7. Taxes

Customers are responsible for all applicable sales tax and similar charges required by law.

Tax-exempt customers must provide valid exemption documentation prior to purchase. Exemptions cannot be applied retroactively.


8. Billing Errors

If a billing error is identified:

  • Overcharges will be refunded promptly.

  • Undercharges may require additional payment prior to shipment.

NovaHaven reserves the right to cancel orders resulting from pricing or system errors.

All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and approved third-party payment processors.

9.2 Data Protection
NovaHaven does not store full credit card numbers on its servers.

9.3 Encryption
Transactions are protected using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.


10. Modifications to Billing Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Billing Terms at any time. Updates become effective immediately upon posting on our website.

Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

NovaHaven shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from billing matters.

Our total liability for any billing-related claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.


12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Billing Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.

Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

14. Entire Agreement

These Billing Terms, together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NovaHaven regarding billing matters.
